SINGAPORE: NEW MEDIA, POLITICS & THE LAW

Since the mid-1990s, technology (mainly but not only the internet) has allowed individuals and groups to have their say in ways hitherto impossible. The government has been playing legislative catch-up, but loopholes remain for small independent producers. Many of the rules are new and untested. I've started a separate blog to help clarify the terrain (mainly to myself). Please note that I am not a legal expert, and some of my interpretations may be incorrect. Do visit this other blog, singaporemedia.blogspot.com.

Would be good if you care to comment on the articles posted in this blogspot at sgpvictimise.blogspot.com

I find the issues intriguing and would love to hear your view as a professor of political studies.
